the location of the hotel was fantastic and beautiful, to local pub called the ship in. further, it was short walk to nearest shop as well as coniston water.

Thank you for an awesome stay. It's superb base for sightseeing and exploring Torver. The location is great, just next door to the Lake District, Ambleside which are an easy short drive from the cabins, and the lake in coniston. The rooms are modern and include a fridge, an oven, and a cooktop. The employees are all very welcoming. The hotel offers a huge variety of food that was good!

The lodge was super modern n clean, had a cozy electric fireplace that was perfect for those cold rainy days! Location is amazing with easy access to lake coniston, n we loved that we could park right next to the lodge. The hot tub was also a great bonus to relax after our adventures.
only downside was it felt a bit snug with not much privacy between lodges n could use a little sprucing up here n there.

fantastic walks and beautiful views nearby
While the lodge was comfortable, it could use some basics like more towels and reliable WiFi to meet the luxury billing.

The hosts, matthew and katrina, were super attentive and even helped us set up a birthday surprise with balloons. Our two-bedroom holiday home was modern and cozy. The hot tub was ready when we arrived. There's also a short walk to the fine shores of coniston water.

The place was really lovely, modern n clean, great parking right by the lodge. I loved the electric fireplace, made it so cozy on chilly rainy days. The location is just fine, perfect for chilling out or going for walks. Everything we needed was there, loved the hot tub too!
Only had a couple of issues, the wifi was super slow sometimes n the kitchen could've used a few more utensils. Overall not a bad stay tho!

This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy the off-site car park, complete cookware, and no pets allowed policy. The staff were very helpful with information about the town on my first stay. Highly recommend returning for a new year!

Loved the hot tub in the back, it was super relaxing after a long day. The kitchen had everything, like oven, toaster, and stovetop. The cabin was really clean, with a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector for safety. Great views of the surrounding nature.

Lovely Break with Fine Nature
The location was a dream, with access to pristine nature trails leading to the lake, where we spent hours enjoying the scenery with our dog. It would be great if they could improve the cleanliness in some areas, as we noticed some cobwebs upon arrival.

Absolutely loved the modern lodge vibe and the fine views-perfect for a cozy night by the electric fireplace! The hot tub was pure bliss, and the overall cleanliness.
Now, not to get too picky, but the back area could do with a spruce-cobwebs and some hidden rubbish weren't fab. The WiFi situation was a bit of a letdown, not super clear on what's available.
